When Tabea told us about her Super Club idea and asked if she could host one at Yardarm, it seemed like a lovely thing to support and nurture. So here it is! There is something magical about a hot summer night! And with summer solstice just around the corner, I want to celebrate the start of the brightest season of the year with you! I will be serving a variety of fresh and vibrant sharing plates bursting with fresh seasonal produce inspired by cuisines from all over the world. Join us for an evening full of good food and shared laughter to nourish both body and soul.
About me:
I moved over to London from Germany not knowing anyone here when I was 19, right before lockdown. I started cooking and being inspired by flavours, however I really missed gathering around a table for dinner with friends, so once lockdown was over I started hosting lots of dinner parties. I have since created a little food instagram account (hostedbytabs) to share my love for cooking and hosting dinner parties. Through working in hospitality, I realised how much joy I find in curating events, food styling, and menu creation. I signed up for a course in Experience Design at UAL, which helped me decide that I want to create an experience that makes everyone feel welcome and encouraged to be truly themselves. I became aware of the Supper Club-concept via Instagram (e.g. Rosie Kellet, Drinkthedressing, Xanthemross) and immediately knew these were the kind of events I would like to host. I hosted my first supper club last year and think I truly found my passion.
